Description
This is for 's Perfect Pix contest
Took about 5-6 hours.... I enjoyed trying out some new stuff, like a more realistic colouring style.... only thing i don't like that much is how realistic the cards still look...
I used stock photos for the newsprint (from:[link] ) and the Pen& paper (from:[link] ) and reffed a screenshot from Spykecam for Rogue's pose but the rest was done by me (including the photo of the cards and the coins (which are still rather obviously NZ money )
If your interested in what the pic of Rogue looked like before it had a whole load of fancy effects & distortions done to it you can see the WIP here: [link]
Rogue belongs to Marvel

Truly beautiful how it's turned out. I initially thought that you'd taken a photo of your desk (with 'greenscreen' where Rogue's picture would be) and Photoshopped it. Very realistic.
The only problem I can see is that the black lines around the lips cause them to stand out a little too much - the main reason for my greenscreen theory, and especially as the rest of the Rogue image is so soft around the edges, the lips seem too hard.
